CSU is Eyeing a 20% Tuition Increase

A recent $23 million cut in Colorado state funding has caused school officials to consider a 20% tuition increase for in-state undergraduate students. The Denver Fort Collins also reported that layoffs are likely however the exact number is still unknown.

A 2% legit cut has been told to academics as far as what to expect while  in non academics academics are facing a 5% cut. It was revealed by the CSU that the tuition proposal will identify the exact number of cuts and amounts within the coming weeks however, the CSU board of governors will come to a ruling on the tuition increase in June as that is when their next meeting is held.
