Fire Danger Risk High in DenverDrLasik
Please be careful with the recent weather conditions as gusty winds and low humidity combined with warmer than average weather have increased the fire danger in many areas of Colorado.
A concern that warning has been posted by the National Weather Service for the front Range and the majority of the eastern plains considering that critical fire weather is currently in effect and needs to be monitored carefully.
The high fire danger warning can possibly be carried into Thursday. Denver has been seen wind gusts up to 35 mph. Very dry grassland areas are at particular risk because fires can move quickly through them driven by strong wind gusts and dry grass as fuel.
